Member Support Ticket System

We are pleased to announce we have transitioned to a new Grievance Ticket System. If your contract has been violated due to an extension, pay issue, lack of hotel or transportation accommodations, etc., please submit a grievance ticket using our website, www.afahorizon.org and click on "Support Ticket" in the main menu. You will then click on "open a new ticket". In the "Help Topic" section of the ticket, click on the drop down menu to select your Council. You will select Council 16 Grievance if you are based in BOI, GEG. PAE or SEA. If you are based in ANC, MFR, or PDX, you will select Council 17 Grievance.
The MEC Communication Committee has set up this system to allow our Flight Attendants to submit a variety of other types of tickets as well, such as concerns or questions with Reserve and Scheduling and a General Inquiry category, to assist with matters that may not rise to the level of a Grievance but still need the attention and/or assistance of your Local Officers. These selections will allow you to submit other issues you may want to raise to our Union.
We want to thank the AFA International Office and the MEC Communication Chair, Kevin Robins, for their invaluable assistance in developing this new system.
This system is new to us, and to you. Your feedback is vital in this process. If you notice anything that needs editing or if you encounter any difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Local Officers.
In solidarity,
Kirk Hansen and Marcella Oswald, MEC Grievance Co-Chairs
