FAA Fatigue Risk Management Plan

FAA Fatigue Risk Management Plan

We have recently completed the FAA opposition letter for the Fatigue Risk Management Plan, (FRMP).  Inflight Management submitted the plan to the FAA.  Our opposition letter is directly tied to management’s insistence on continuing to keep the possibility of discipline in the plan.  In our opinion this is not putting safety first.  We believe to have an effective Fatigue Risk Management Plan and to ensure that flight attendants participate, requires the removal of the threat of discipline.  Ed Hawes, MEC President, has signed our opposition letter and has been sent to the FAA. We are currently awaiting to hear if approved or not.
