Negotiation Committee Update – TA

As you know, we have been very close to a TA for a few weeks now. With the departure of management’s chief negotiator, Michelle Abidoye, we were all motivated to wrap this up.  We are now able to report that we reached a tentative agreement with management!

We still have some final language writing to do. Once that’s finished, the MEC will vote on whether to send the TA out for membership ratification. We can’t release details of the TA until after the MEC vote. We hope to have that accomplished, and a copy of the TA ready for you to read, in a couple of weeks. We expect to begin roadshows in early April.
