Accommodations Plus International (API) for Crew Hotels
Exciting Hotel News, from your MEC Hotel and Transportation Committee
As you know, we've been experiencing ongoing challenges with the service level our current vendor provides to our Flight Attendants in regard to layovers and transportation issues. Horizon management has taken AFA's concerns into account and decided to transition their business from TAC (Travel Alliance Communications) to API (Accommodations Plus International).
When: Effective November 1st, 2024
What does this mean? On our IMD's, CrewConnex will no longer be used; API will provide a new more extensive application for our use
Will this change anything at our current hotels? Contracts with our current hotels and transportation vendors will remain unchanged.
When and how will I be trained on the new application? Horizon management is expected to provide more details about the new application and how to use it within the next few weeks, once all the pieces are in place. Inflight Supervisors will also be available to assist you during the transition to API.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your Hotel/Transportation Committee.

PEOPLE AND LABOR
A significant increase in labor costs or unsuccessful attempts to strengthen our relationships with union employees could adversely affect our business and results of operations.
