Crew Member Conflict-what to do?
Crew Conflict, Call the Union First
We never know what someone may be going through at home, or in their personal lives. We never know what someone may go home to each night, that may affect their otherwise pleasant and professional demeanor at work.
If you have a conflict with a coworker, be it communication style or maybe a disagreement over how the service should be done, please go to AFA EAP and Professional Standards...first.
A flight attendant and committee volunteer, who is trained in conflict resolution, can assist in de-escalating the dispute, and help avoid the need to involve management. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you still have the option to go to management with your complaint. Just keep in mind that you never know what will come out in an investigation once the company gets involved.
All calls to AFA EAP/Professional Standards Representatives are 100% confidential.
We are an AFA-CWA family. Let's take care of each other.

PEOPLE AND LABOR
A significant increase in labor costs or unsuccessful attempts to strengthen our relationships with union employees could adversely affect our business and results of operations.
