**MSO Hotel update - We are moving! **

AFA, alongside IBT and a member of the Horizon Hotel Committee, recently completed a site inspection to evaluate properties in both the downtown area and near the airport.

Since downtown has been our "home away from home" for many years, we're pleased to share that management has selected another excellent downtown location for our overnights. While we'll certainly miss our current crew hotel, we're only moving a few blocks away—and we'll be even closer to the river!

The company selected  this property based on its compliance with the MHS (Minimum Hotel Standards) requirements and the convenience of their on-demand shuttle. Horizon is designating both our current primary hotel and its neighboring sister property as secondary properties.

Things to know:

1/ Moving Date: July 5th, 2026

2/ Shuttle - on demand

3/ Food Discount - 20% on all food and nonalcoholic beverages

4/ Microwave is available in hotel lobby

5/ Restaurants in the area: Gary's Local Burgers, Wally & Bucks,Five Guys, Market on Front, The Camino, Basal Press Box Sports Bar

6/ Things to do: hike the "M", walk the river path, shop the Local Markets (If you are visiting on a Saturday (May through October), you can walk to the three main outdoor markets, including the Clark Fork River Market and the Missoula Farmers Market at the north end of Higgins.) Check out the waterfront amphitheater for free concerts.
