Negotiations Update
Negotiations Update
October 31, 2025
Thank you to every Horizon FA who was able to join us for our Pop-Up Picket in front of the Horizon and Alaska offices in SeaTac on Tuesday! We had a great turnout for this type of event, and were joined by our International Vice-President Keturah Johnson, Alaska FAs, Southwest FAs, and several other local labor council volunteers. This event was purposefully planned with discrete and minimal notice to ensure management did not get word ahead of time, and it worked! We had both buildings we picketed in front of buzzing with discussions and text messages. Our message was clear – Horizon Flight Attendants deserve a contract NOW!
We are pleased to share that management has agreed to meet next week, without our federal mediator who is still on furlough due to the government shutdown. Our goal is to TA any issues we can, however small, so we can focus on the “big-ticket” items when the government does open and we can meet with the mediator again. You will get another update from us after our session next week.
In Solidarity,
Lisa, Heather, Lexie, and Kimberley
