YVR Crew Hotel Change as of July 1st

**YVR Hotel Update**

Please note that, effective July 1, 2026, crews will transition to a new temporary hotel. This luxury boutique property is known for its contemporary design, spacious guest rooms, and modern amenities. It will serve as our primary crew hotel throughout the summer and into the Fall.

All hotel information and applicable details will be available on your IMD in the API application under MyCrewCare (MCC). If the hotel information is not displayed, please notify the Hotel/Transportation Committee as soon as possible so the issue can be addressed.

Things to know:

1/ microwaves and mini-bar type fridges ( no freezer) are in each room. (Please note that a mini-bar fridge does not get as cold as a regular room fridge)

2/ Restaurant discount is 20% (alcohol not included)

3/ Restaurants in the area include Italian Tomato Restaurant, Jade Seafood Restaurant, Masa Ishibasha, Kebabs by Spice & Bloom, Donair Dude Mediterranean Restaurant, Burger King, The Story Cafe & Eatery (personal favorite!), Starbucks, and a little further away are the dining options at the Riverrock Casino, Costco and Foody World which is a chinese supermarket.

4/ The hotel will be providing our shuttle service.  They will pick up our crews on Level 3 (Departure Level) so once you clear the Customs area, take the elevator or escalator upstairs to the Departure Level and exit door 17 to the curb. Look to the right, locate the "Courtesy Shuttle/Crew / Authorized Vehicles" sign. Please check your API app for complete instructions on where to meet the shuttle.

5/ Things to do -

a) Richmond Night Market - $7 admission - there is food, entertainment, rides, games. Runs until September 20th and is open from 7pm-11pm (vendors primarily use cash only)

b) catch the Skytrain at the airport or Bridgeport Station and head downtown to the waterfront and Stanley Park (a Daypass runs about $12.00)

c) walk around Richmond and go shopping/sightseeing at the many asian markets, CF Center or the Aberdeen Mall

d) enjoy the luxurious hotel pool/workout area 

e) go for a walk/jog on the dike in Richmond which follows the Fraser River.  You can review the full path layouts on the City of Richmond Trails Map or check recent route conditions and photos on AllTrails.
