This is the fifth in a series of Committee Chair Profiles.

Are you a logic-driven problem solver with a passion for helping your fellow Flight Attendants? TheMEC is looking to fill (2)Preferential Bidding System (PBS) positions 

What You’ll Do:

• Be the Expert: Master the PBS software to ensure it’s running according to our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) .
• Advocate: Work directly with Crew Planning during the monthly bid award, resolve system glitches and protect seniority-based awards.
• Empower: Create educational resources and host "Base Sits" to help FAs build better bids.
• Solve: Act as the go-to contact for members facing bidding hurdles or award discrepancies.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A "systems thinker" who enjoys technical details and contract language.
• A patient communicator who can break down complex bidding logic for others.
• A dedicated advocate ready to represent our union’s interests in management meetings.
