25 Years Later.......We Remember, We Honor, We Never Forget

In the last century, there are only a few moments in history that bring with it the “where were you” question.  Each of us reflect and tell our audience our recollection of the event and explain how it had impacted us personally.  We have reached the 25th anniversary of September 11th 2001.  This was most certainly a day in most of our lives that we remember precisely where we were, what we were doing, who we were with, and how it impacted us personally.  On Friday, please take a moment to reflect, if you are at work, take a moment to look at your fellow Flight Attendants and recognize that we are a family, who shares the same goal of a safe, friendly and enjoyable flight, that ends with safely going home to our family and loved ones.  If you are not working, take a moment to look at your friends and family and truly appreciate how important they are to you, and you to them.

We take pride in our profession and our coworkers.  We recognize the importance of our role in the safety and experience of air travel.  Just as important, we remember that Flight Attendants, Pilots and all airline employees work valiantly every day.  It matters so much that on September 11th 2001, those crew members sacrificed their lives to do their best to try and save the lives of everyone onboard those fateful flights.

FAA CARD 

 A friendly reminder......please ensure you have your current FAA card with you whenever you are on duty as it is required as per our Flight Attendant Manual 3.1.1. If you do not physically have your FAA Card, or if your card becomes lost or stolen, inform your Inflight management team and contact the FAA to have a replacement card ordered. If an FAA Inspector requests to see your card and you do not have it, you will have 15 days to produce a copy.
