August Wildfires - Message from your LEC 16 Officers

Our hearts are with each of you as we witness the devastating impact this tragedy has had on our members, coworkers, families, and the communities we call home. We know many of you have experienced unimaginable loss, and our thoughts remain with everyone affected.

We want to thank those who have checked in with us as we have been concerned for your safety and well-being. Please know that if you need support or assistance of any kind, your Local Officers are here for you. You may also contact the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at 800-424-2406 for confidential support.

If you are in need of financial assistance, or if you would like to support fellow Flight Attendants and their families who have been impacted, please visit the AFA Disaster Relief Fund: https://afacwa.org/resource/drf/

Additionally, management has advised that hotel accommodations are available for those who need a safe place to stay before reporting for a trip. If you require lodging, please contact the Operational Hotline at 206-688-3300.

Above all, please take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Your safety and well-being are the highest priority.  In moments like these, we are reminded that our union is more than a workplace, it is a family. You are not facing this alone. We stand with you, we are thinking of you, and we will continue to support one another through the days ahead.
