Reminder of Upcoming Joint Membership Meeting:

We are a few days away from our joint membership meeting with Alaska Council 19. The AFA-CWA Constitution & Bylaws require that each year, one of our local membership meetings be held prior to the Board of Directors Convention. This is your opportunity to review the advance agenda items that are up for consideration and vote at the Board of Directors. We hope you can attend to provide feedback on the changes you would like to see in our Constitution and Bylaws. The joint meeting is open to all members in good-standing and you are invited to join in-person or virtually. Please use the registration links for either option below.

Contract Negotiations Mobilization Event

We have a Contract Negotiations Mobilization event at PDX Airport March 9th from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.  We are anticipating a significant turnout at this event with several media outlets present. Here are details of the event and the link to register: Click here to register.  We are hoping for a record turnout. The Port has a maximum limit on the number of people who can picket that day, so please let us know if you can make it and if you are bringing others to participate in this fun event. You can wear your uniform or street clothes but cannot non-rev to and from the event.
