Welcome September!

As summer travel comes to an end and the kids return to school, we can look forward to cooler days, changing leaves, and the arrival of fall.

As we enter September, we want to share some important updates regarding upcoming events within Local Council 16. Please take a moment to review the information below and mark your calendars.

As a reminder, our in-person Local Council 16 meeting on Tuesday, September 15th, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM PDT  If you have any questions about the meeting, feel free to reach out.   Location: Earhart Room, located in the South Tower of International Place, Lower Plaza Level (same building as 13 Coins) across from SEA Airport

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) will have a runway closure starting Wednesday, September 2nd, which will remain in effect through November. Please check your schedules, and if you are commuting, plan accordingly.

Come cheer on the Seattle Mariners for Union night at T-Mobile Park. Saturday, September 5th, tickets will be on sale until Wednesday, September 2nd. my.cheddarup.com/c/afa-union-night-at-t-mobile-park

Vacation bidding will open on October 1st and close on October 21st. Round 2 will open on November 1st and close on November 22nd. Stay tuned for additional information soon.
