What does the Communication Committee do?
This Committee is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective information sharing process between QXAFA leadership and members, including use of the afahorizon.org website, email “blasts”, and social media outlets. This Committee is a resource for QXAFA Leaders on best practices involving communication with membership including copyright issues, photo permissions, spam and privacy policies. They maintain and update the afahorizon.org website and our social media presence. The Electronic Communications Committee creates and regularly distributes informational updates to the Flight Attendants and maintains email lists and membership on our Facebook page. Additionally, they post correspondence from local committees regarding current happenings and information of interest as well as meeting minutes and/or notes.
