Hello Fellow Flight Attendants,
Yesterday, a new manual revision was released which included outdated language. FAM Revision 21.08, effective August 2nd, 2021, is not current with Section 335 of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 which clearly states:
“(A) a Flight Attendant scheduled to a duty period of 14 hours or less is given a scheduled rest period of at least 10 consecutive hours; and (B) the rest period is not reduced under any circumstances.”
Please refer to the above if QX Leadership tries to reduce your rest.
Management has been informed of the error in verbiage.
